  • Join Us for Fish and Loaves Meal Ministry! The Mission Committee is partnering with Downtown Presbyterian in Nashville (154 Rep. John Lewis Way N, NashvilleTN 37219) to serve in their Fish and Loaves Meal Ministry on Saturday, March 22. Volunteers will meet at FPC Franklin at 7:45 AM to carpool on the bus or you can drive separately and meet at Downtown Presbyterian at 8:20 AM. Complimentary parking is available- see sign up for details.

    Would you like to meet fellow members of FPC in a small group setting and share a meal together? If so, Dinner for 8 is for you. Dinner for 8 will be Saturday, April 5 from 6-8 pm at various members homes. Dinner will be provided.


    As registration forms are received, the Fellowship Committee will put people together so that each group has, at most, eight adults, taking into account the location preference that you listed. Groups may be comprised of all couples, two couples and four singles, one couple and six singles, etc. It all depends on who signs up. The mystery of who you will be dining with is part of the excitement!

  •  Friday, March 28 at 11:00 AM, meet us for lunch at Serrato's Steakhouse (3046 Columbia Ave, Franklin)—no sign-up needed, just show up! 


    Tuesday, April 29: Free Tennessee State Museum tour at 1 PM. Meet at the museum or ride the church bus, leaving at 10:45 AM for lunch at Nashville Farmers' Market. Sign up here.


    May 31 to June 1 overnight trip to the Tennessee Valley Railroad where we'll enjoy a 4-5 hour train ride on the Hiawassee River Loop. Go to tvrail.com and click on "view all train rides". Then click on "Hiawassee Loop" to learn more and order tickets. Those of us committed to this trip will be getting Dome tickets ($99) soon, as there are only 12 and they will sell out soon. Observation car ($85), Crown class ($62), and standard adult (52) are also good options. For those uncomfortable with buying tickets so far ahead of time, know that you can get trip insurance for 15% of the ticket.   


    Currently the plan is to leave Franklin on Saturday AM in car pools. We will have dinner and stay over night in the Cleveland, Delano, Etowah area and depart from the Delano Depot on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 for our train ride. We will depart for home Sunday evening. There will be time to visit the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum in Chattanooga (no additional cost) and the L &N Railway Museum in Etowah (free) as desired.

  • HymN Festival

    Join us on Sunday, March 23 at 3 PM for a hymn service based around the Lord’s Prayer and featuring hymn favorites selected by the congregation. Music for choir, quartet, soloists, instrumentalists, piano, and organ. Reception to follow.

  • During this important interim time of exploration at FPC, join us for an interactive learning journey where you will receive tools to discover and leverage your strengths during three, 2-hour sessions with lunch provided (March 30, April 13, & April 27). We will explore these strengths and find the best place to engage and serve your FPC Community and in other aspects of your life. The flowers add to our worship by reminding us of God’s creation, and then are broken down into smaller arrangements and delivered to members of our congregation as a reminder of the love of their church family and of God. The cost is $85, and you may pay online or with a check with worship flowers in the memo line. The signups are on a first come first serve basis. If you have a specific date you would like, sign up ASAP. Thank you for providing flowers each week to enhance worship.
