April’s highlighted collection is Asher’s Animals, a ministry created in memory of Asher that provides stuffed animals to children experiencing illness or trauma. Help share comfort and keep his legacy alive by donating a new, tagged stuffed animal (small to medium size) to the cart.

  • A fun evening of fellowship on Thursday, April 23 at 6:30 PM! Sign up and join us and a dozen or so Vandy and Belmont students at the St. Augustine's Chapel on the Vanderbilt Campus. No need to cook, our meal will be provided by Guac and Queso, Eric England’s food truck, w/ gluten/dairy/vegan options built in~ just sign up & come and join us round the table! Staying for worship is always an invitation as well. Rev. Mary Sellers Shaw, Executive Director and Campus Minister of UKIRK Nashville- will be there and loves seeing old friends!

  • Join us on April 25 as we partner with Room In The Inn to serve lunch to the men of the Guest House community. We will prepare and pack lunches in the FPC kitchen at 8:00 AM, then arrive at RITI at 10:00 AM. to set up, plate, and serve a table lunch to 75 guests. Join the team by signing up here.

  • Join us for a church workday at the Hard Bargain Association on Saturday, May 2, from 9:30 AM–1:00 PM. We will meet at Ty’s House (608 Mt. Hope Street in Franklin) before heading out to work on projects in the community. Volunteers will help with yard work, painting, and minor construction or repair projects. If you’d like to participate, please  sign up in advance. Questions? Contact Mike Anderson.

  • FPC Worship & Arts

    FPC Music & Arts: Sunday, May 17 at 3 PM we welcome African American Concert Organist Alcee Chriss III. Celebrated for his “grace, skill, and abundant proficiency,” Dr. Chriss has performed throughout North America and Europe and is University Organist and Artist-in-Residence at Wesleyan University. In addition to his concert career, Alcee is active as a church musician, guest lecturer, and remains engaged with his lifelong love of gospel and jazz.

  • Sign up today to donate the worship flowers in honor or memory of someone. The worship flowers remind us of the beauty of God's creation and are then rearranged into smaller vases and delivered to members as a reminder of God's love and the love of their church family.

  • Holy Stitches

    Do you enjoy knitting or crocheting? Holy Stitches is the new name for our expanded prayer shawl ministry which now includes scarves and hats for our Mountain T.O.P. mission partner and blankets for new FPC babies. We’re looking for new members—whether you’d like to join our monthly gatherings or contribute items from home.
